The Format
48 Hours of Creation
Global Game Jam takes place over the course of a single weekend — typically 48 hours. The event kicks off with the announcement of a secret theme, revealed simultaneously at all participating locations around the world. Once the theme is unveiled, participants begin brainstorming and forming teams, then dive into building a game from scratch within the tight time limit.
Team-Based Collaboration
